Our Worship
The Worship Ministry at The Gathering Place of Aurora reflects who we are as a Spirit-led, presence-centered church. We are a Spirit Contemporary church, meaning our worship is not tied to one style or generation, but is shaped by both current songs and timeless expressions, all led by the Holy Spirit.
Our primary focus in worship is God’s manifest Presence. We exalt the name of Jesus from a posture of surrender, welcoming His glory as we worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23–24). Each service creates space for both joyful celebration and deep reverence, as we respond to what the Holy Spirit is doing.

What Does Our Worship Look Like
Worship at The Gathering Place often flows in a continuous expression rather than a set list. As the Holy Spirit leads, worship may include:
- Contemporary and prophetic songs
- Spontaneous worship moments
- Prophetic words or songs
- Altar calls and personal ministry
- Expressions such as flagging or shofars
We believe worship is not about performance, but about ministering to the Lord and responding to His presence with authenticity and faith.
Why Worship Matters
As we worship, we are not only honoring God—we are also being transformed. Authentic worship helps prepare our hearts to receive the Word, align our lives with God’s purposes, and deepen our relationship with Him.
We invite you to watch one of our recorded services to experience the worship culture of The Gathering Place of Aurora firsthand.
Come and encounter His presence.
