Helping Kids Grow in Their Walk with God
Ages 5-12 years oldThe Children’s Ministry at The Gathering Place of Aurora is a fun, safe, and faith-filled environment where children ages 5–12 are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God. Led by caring and qualified teachers, children are introduced to biblical truth in ways that are engaging, age-appropriate, and meaningful.
Each week, children experience Bible stories, memory verses (often set to music), worship, games, crafts, and hands-on object lessons designed to help them understand God’s Word and apply it to everyday life. We also create space for kids to ask questions and engage in faith conversations outside of the home, helping them build a strong spiritual foundation.
Our heart is to prepare each child spiritually—equipping them to face life’s challenges and encouraging them to become lifelong worshippers and followers of Jesus.
When Do The Children Meet
Children’s Ministry takes place during our Sunday morning service at Aurora.
- Sundays: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Location: Children’s Room at the back of the church
